Cam grew up in rural North Carolina and moved to the Nashville area to pursue his music career in 2012. Cam’s passion for music has led him to be a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He met his wife, Whitney, through RUF at MTSU, and they have been married since 2014. The McAulays are blessed with two children, Rinnah and Reese.
